We had to brave Miki…
Day 17 – Art Market & Family
We started at the Docklands Art Market then on to the big Art Market. We caught up with some family and they took us to the Emporium. I honestly think you could get lost in the mall. It is HUGE! We wandered some more of downtown. It is honestly fun just walking the streets but all the food displays do make you quite hungry!
We were off to dinner with the family.
Day 15 – Train to Toyota
Little dude had been begging to ride the trains! The trams everyday were no longer enough. There was a Toyota to look at and the best way to get there was by train and bus. It was cheaper and it meant I didn’t have to drive and little dude got his train ride. So we …
Day 14 – Shrine of Remembrance and Hosier Lane
We got a special tour with some fun tour guides and their friends. We started at Hosier Lane a street with lots of street art. Then took a nice walk to the Shrine where we got a private tour of the Shrine. We were gonna get to bed a bit earlier tonight as we needed to catch the train bright and early in the morning.Someone needed to burn some extra energy so we went to the park (I think he would love to have to ride the tram to the park everyday😀).
Day 13 – Thanksgiving
We celebrated a day early to work around everyone’s schedule. Since everyone was working during the day we took a drive out around the bay. Our first stop was Alberta Park where we checked out the great skyline views in hopes of some good comparison photos. We then continued along the bays edge. On the way back we stopped at the beach. The last stop was a short walk at the West Gate Bridge Park…that is one big bridge! Then on to prep Thanksgiving dinner with the family and make some turkey hand prints.A great day!
Day 11 – Slept In
We really slept in this morning after the late night home from the beach. When we got up we were discussing riding the train up to check out a truck. Then we found out a deposit had been taken. No catching the train today. We planned to go to the market and to the library. …
Day 10 – Airey’s Inlet
It took us a bit to get to the Airey’s house but we made it as the day was warming up. We went miniature golfing and then played in the ocean. Riding the waves was so much fun!
Beach Photos to follow…
This picture was for Nanna…even Australia had Christmas decorations up!
Day 9 – Homework, Laundry, Waiting, Walking
We started the day hanging out working on homework and laundry. After lunch we realized that our fridge was quite warm as all the fruits and veggies were waisted. We waited around doing our chores hoping they would come fix it. After waiting and waiting we played some games with Auntie La who came by for a visit.
We then left the kids with her to wait for the fridge fixers. Hubby and I took another walk down the town. I have really enjoyed getting my steps in walking around. There is so much to see.
Day 8 – Little guy needed Mama time.
A sunset walk on the wharf.
