Day 16 – Best Day Yet – The Great Ocean Road

 

It was the perfect road trip day.  Not too hot but beautiful sunshine!!!  We took the freeway down to the 12 Apostles.

Kristin was the “first to spot the red & white pole” in Geelong, as is the game on the way to Aireys, where the family has their beach house.  We saw our first Koala…he was dead hanging on to a road reflector.  Poor little guy.

We made it to The Twelve Apostles just before lunch.  It was a very enjoyable walk such a beautiful site.

A short little hike to the falls!!  All to end a very fun day on the Great Ocean Road!!
